Walter Whitney, founder of Vista Hearing Instruments & Audiology, fit his first hearing aid over 47 years ago.  At that time no one, including Mr. Whitney knew that he would establish a company that would become any industry leader in serving the hearing needs of Northern & Central Ohio.

In 1981, after 20 years of experience with major national companies, Mr. Whitney decided that there had to be a better way to provide high quality hearing healthcare.  Thus, Vista Hearing & Audiology was born with 5 basic philosophies:
